SOCIETY MEETINGS

The Society membership currently meets every second Saturday of the month month at 11:00am in White Cloud at the Commission on Aging building unless othewise stated. The Board meets at 9:30am, prior to the membership. We are a non-profit organization that relies on donations and membership dues to fund our endeavors. Please consider us when making donations. We would like to hear from you. Please send your comments and suggestions to: NCSHG, PO Box 68, White Cloud, MI 49349. This address may also be used for donations, contributions, inquiries and membership information.

The Board nor the Regular meetings will take place for January and July in 2008.

FOR GENEALOGICAL RESEARCH CONTACT: (The libraries are not affiliated with the Society)

Of the five libraries in Newaygo County, two have staff in their Local History/Genealogy rooms. All of the libraries have some form of history and/or genealogy materials available.

The following two libraries have staff available for research through the library. The Society does not perform research at this time.

Hesperia Area Library, 80 S. Division Street, 231-854-5125 has a Local History Room that is self-serve. It houses information about Hesperia and it's communites only. The library is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 10:00 to 7:00pm, Friday 10:00 to 5:00pm and Saturdays (during the school year season) 10:00 to 3:00pm.

Grant Area Library, 122 S. Elder Ave, 231-834-5713 has a Local History room that is self-serve. Please call the library for days and times of service.

Newaygo Carnegie Library, 45 N. State Road, 231-652-6723. Please call the library for days and times of service.
